Night Lights

Night Lights

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Empty Kim Crawford wine bottles
  • Wire twinkle lights, battery-powered or electric (if you have outdoor outlets)
  • Wooden spoon
Directions
  • Fill empty bottles with a strand of twinkle lights. Use the end of a wooden spoon to arrange the lights evenly in the bottle.
  • Arrange bottles around your outdoor space, creating clusters where possible. Cleverly disguise any excess cord.
  • Continue rolling out sections of wire and bending it into shapes until you have a piece about 4 feet long. Gently bend the piece into a circle and hook the ends into the geometric structure to close the wreath.
  • Using thin even coats, spray the leaf sprig with gold spray paint. Allow paint to dry between coats.
  • Thread gold leaf sprig through a section of the wreath.
  • Use finishing nails to hang the wreath on your door or wall.

  • Tie one end of a ribbon length to the neck of a wine bottle and measure the height you want the balloon to float and tie the other end to the knot of the balloon.
  • Finish each balloon by covering each knot with 2 tassels for a clean look.
  • Repeat with as many balloons as desired and get ready for the compliments to roll in.

Boom Wall Art

Boom Wall Art

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • 2″ foam balls (smooth)
  • 10″ bamboo skewers and thin sticks (we used stems from dried craft flowers)
  • Gold metallic spray paint
  • White spray paint
Directions
  • There is a thin seam line on the styrofoam ball that divides it in half. Use a small saw or file to slice a piece off the foam ball on one side of the dividing seam so it will sit flat against the wall.
  • Spray the balls the base color (either gold or white). Spray the skewers gold or 2/3 gold, 1/3 white for ombré effect. Let paint dry between coats and rotate the skewers to cover all sides.
  • Using the seam in the ball as your starting point, insert the skewers about 1/4 inch in, around this line, then fill upwards.
  • Use an adhesive velcro tab to pop on the wall, damage free (they weigh less than a pound).

Abstract Wreath

Abstract Wreath

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Approximately 12 yards of 12 gauge gold craft wire
  • Snub nose pliers
  • A sprig of bay leaves, laurel leaves, or eucalyptus
  • Gold metallic spray paint
Directions
  • Working in sections on the floor or at a table with plenty of space, unroll the length of the wire and straighten it.
  • Using the pliers and your hands, bend the wire in alternating directions every 4 to 6 inches to create geometric shapes. Try to connect corners and be conscious of building three dimensional triangles and shapes as you work.
