WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Silicone ice cube trays (these work much better than any other kind as they are more flexible)
- Edible flowers and mint leaves or berries (best to use flowers that are 100% edible such as orchids, mini roses, violets, and pansies)
- Edible gold flakes
- Distilled water
DIRECTIONS:
- Boil distilled water for crystal clear ice cubes and let cool.
- Fill the tray a third of the way with water and add flowers or mint with a couple of gold flakes. I suggest using one larger flower or mint leaf in each cube. Then freeze the tray until solid.
- Remove the tray and add more distilled water another third of the way up. Then freeze until solid. If the flower or mint is floating, just push it down with your finger.
- For the final part, top off the water one last time and freeze until solid. Keep in the freezer until ready to pour into the ice bucket.
